- Preparing dumpling dough for making veg momos at home
Well, making dumpling dough is an easy recipe. You just need to use salt, flour, water and a little bit of oil. The use of oil is mandatory here as it helps to make the dough more soft and supple and keep it away from drying out. Add a pinch of salt and mix the flour properly. Then add oil and water gradually to make a shaggy dough. Knead it well until it turns into a smooth ball. If you want, you can more flour as required. At the end, you just need to make sure that the dough is barely tacky.
For preparing this dough, it takes only 5 to 10 minutes and you are done. Once you prepare the dough, cover it up with a clean damp kitchen towel. It will help to keep the dough hydrated and fresh. Let it rest for around 30 minutes.
